Job summary

EDAG Group is seeking a talented engineer to join our digital factory team in Pune, India. You will build simulation models for system evaluation and the development of optimal control strategies.

You will identify bottlenecks in planned systems, develop optimization approaches during the planning phase, and create models for virtual commissioning. You will also develop decision support tools to improve manufacturing planning and collaboration with customers.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics or a comparable qualification.
• Understanding of production processes in the manufacturing and/or automotive industry as well as logistics processes
• Experience with the simulation software Plant Simulation
• You have programming skills in a programming language (e.g. symtalk, C#, C++) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Visual Basic programming language
• Basic / Advance German language skills is an advantage.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, structured way of working, confident demeanor, initiative, strong communication skills
