Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Manufacturing QC Engineer to ensure the quality of solar panels during the manufacturing process. The role requires measuring quality at various production stages and coordinating with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.

Candidate should have ITI/Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Manufacturing and at least 1 year of QC experience on a factory floor. Solar module knowledge will be preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing QC/quality inspection.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of EL testing and solar module defects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check the quality of solar panels at different stages of production.
• Inspect raw materials, cells, glass, strings, soldering, layup, lamination and final product.
• Perform and monitor quality tests as per company standards.
• Identify defects and ensure proper corrective action.
• Monitor production processes and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Maintain quality inspection and test records.
• Support EL testing, visual inspection and other module quality checks.
• Investigate repeated quality problems and identify root causes.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure proper handling of rejected/defective material.
• Follow safety, 5S and quality procedures.
