Valmet is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist in Chennai to transform data into actionable insights using Power BI across our service excellence initiatives. You will connect data from Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, and databases to deliver meaningful dashboards and reports for global stakeholders.

You will collaborate with service teams to automate reporting, support inventory planning, and maintain product data, contributing to improved decision-making and performance metrics.

Qualificações

• 3-6 years of relevant engineering/service experience.
• Bachelor8 degree in business administration or related field.
• Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards/reports.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources (Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, databases).
• Understanding of Power BI security concepts including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of inventory planning, master data maintenance, and reporting using Power BI/Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards by integrating data from Salesforce, SharePoint, MDS IB databases, Excel, and other data sources to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Champion and drive the use of historical data and statistics within the Flow Control Business Area as a measure of performance and success; support sales to identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to automate reporting, support inventory planning activities, and maintain warehouse, spare part, and product data.

Skills And Knowledge

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in engineering, technical service, service support, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or in related field is required.
• Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of integrating multiple data sources, including Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, and databases.
• Understanding of Power BI security concepts, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
