Job summary

TomTom is seeking an SAP SD Senior Application Engineer to design, implement, and support SAP SD solutions across the O2C lifecycle in Pune. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP S/4HANA SD solutions and participate in continuous improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on SAP SD experience with focus on O2C
• At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation, preferably on SAP S/4HANA SD / Simple Logistics
• Deep understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes (sales order, pricing, billing, shipping)
• Strong configuration in enterprise structure, master data, output determination, taxes, and billing
• Good integration knowledge with FI and COPA, logistics execution
• ABAP debugging is mandatory; basic ABAP development exposure is desirable
• Experience with IDOC processing, EDI interfaces, and interface troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with user exits, BADI, enhancements and RICEFW objects

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support SAP SD solutions across the O2C lifecycle
• Build and test SAP SD customizations aligned with business requirements
• Work on SAP S/4HANA SD / Simple Logistics implementations, enhancements, and support
• Perform ABAP debugging, analyze issues, and collaborate with developers for fixes
• Prepare functional specifications (FS) and support TS, validate developments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, PP, QM, PM) for seamless integration
• Configure SD components: sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, output determination, taxes
• Support EDI/IDOC integrations, interfaces, and message processing
• Identify system improvements and drive optimization initiatives
• Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production support
• Troubleshoot production issues with strong analytical skills
• Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation, and best practices
• Nice to Have: ABAP on HANA / CDS views, Fiori in SD, ATP etc.

As an SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) Senior Application Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA SD solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across the O2C lifecycle, while contributing to continuous improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Design, configure, and support SAP SD solutions across the O2C process lifecycle
• Build and test high-quality SAP customizations aligned with business requirements
• Work on SAP S/4HANA SD / Simple Logistics implementations, enhancements, and support engagements
• Perform ABAP debugging, analyze technical issues, and collaborate with developers for code fixes or enhancements
• Prepare functional specifications (FS), support technical design (TS), and validate developments
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (FI, PP, QM, PM) to ensure seamless integration
• Configure and optimize key SD components such as:
  • Sales order processing, delivery, billing
  • Pricing, output determination, and tax configuration
  • Credit management and revenue recognition integration
• Support EDI/IDOC integrations, interfaces, and message processing
• Identify system improvement opportunities and drive optimization initiatives
• Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production support activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with strong analytical skills
• Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation, and best practices

What you’ll need

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD, with strong focus on O2C processes
• At least 1 full‑cycle SAP implementation, preferably on SAP S/4HANA SD / Simple Logistics
• Deep understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes, including:
  • Sales order management
  • Pricing (advanced pricing concepts, condition techniques)
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Shipping and delivery processes
• Strong configuration expertise in:
  • Enterprise structure
  • Master data (customer, material, pricing conditions)
  • Output determination, taxes, and billing processes
• Good understanding of integration with FI (accounts receivable), COPA, and logistics execution
• Experience in IDOC processing, EDI integration, and interface troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • User exits, BADI, enhancements
  • Functional specifications for RICEFW objects
• ABAP debugging skills (mandatory) and ability to analyze code behavior
• Exposure to basic ABAP development (reports, enhancements, forms) is highly desirable
• Strong experience in support, upgrade, and enhancement projects

Nice to Have

• Experience with ABAP on HANA / CDS views / debugging in S/4 environment
• Exposure to Fiori apps in SD
• Knowledge of advanced ATP (aATP), FSCM Credit Management
• Experience working in global template rollouts or multi‑country implementations
