Job summary

Insight is seeking a seasoned Networking Senior Engineer with Cisco ISE specialization to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade ISE network access and identity management solutions. You will deliver secure, scalable environments while leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise networking, strong Cisco ISE experience, and a focus on NAC, authentication protocols, and multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on Cisco ISE design, implementation, and administration
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale, multi‑site ISE deployments
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE architecture, components, and deployment models
• Proficiency in network access control (NAC) concepts and implementation
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP‑TLS, PEAP)
• Experience with network switches, wireless controllers, and endpoint devices
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity management systems
• Proficiency in command‑line interfaces and scripting (Python, Bash preferred)
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise Cisco ISE architectures, deployment models, network access control strategies, security policies, and detailed technical documentation
• Lead multi-site Cisco ISE installation and configuration, including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP, segmentation, posture, guest access, and BYOD frameworks
• Troubleshoot escalated ISE issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize performance and high availability, conduct capacity planning, and support compliance requirements
• Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and application teams, mentor junior engineers, maintain knowledge documentation, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders

About the role

As a Networking Senior Engineer - Cisco ISE Specialization , you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco Identity Services Engine network access and identity management solutions .
