Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking an Engineer II – SDET with 5-10 years of experience to design and execute performance tests in Bangalore. You will strengthen test automation, contribute to CI/CD integration, and collaborate across DevOps and QA teams to ensure scalable, reliable software products.

You will work with JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, K6, Playwright, and Git in a fast-paced environment that values quality engineering and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with performance testing, test automation, CI/CD integration, and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance/load tests using JMeter/Gatling/LoadRunner/K6 (or equivalent tools) to identify bottlenecks and ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Enhance and scale existing test automation frameworks using Playwright (or similar modern automation tools) to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to drive quality engineering best practices
• Leverage Git-based version control and engineering best practices to maintain reusable, maintainable, and scalable test assets.
