AtkinsRéalis Group in Noida, India is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the Civil & Structural team. You will lead detailed design for Water & Wastewater treatment units, reservoirs, and related structures, interfacing with project leads and other disciplines.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a Masters in Structural Engineering preferred, 5+ years in water/wastewater design, familiarity with Euro Codes, and proficiency in 3D modeling tools like Revit, Civil 3D, and Autodesk

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with Masters preferred.
• 5+ years in Water & Wastewater design.
• Experience in UK/Europe projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Euro Codes and detailed drawings.
• Proficient in 3D modelling and related software.

Responsibilities

• Originating or checking outline and detailed design for water treatment units.
• Prepare calculations, bar bending schedules, and reports.
• Coordinate with project leads and other disciplines.
• Deliver design outputs on time within budget and quality standards.
• Mentor Graduate/Junior Engineers and support site activities.

You will be responsible for detailed structural design of various elements for Treatment plants, Water and wastewater utilities, Environment protection works, preparation of structural reports and reinforcement drawings, create structural models by using computer-aided design software, follow construction safety guidelines, choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.## Your Role * Originating or Checking of Outline and detailed design of various Water and Wastewater treatment units* Providing solutions for designs from buildability point of view.* Originator of calculations to international codes of practice* Addressing the TQs, Site RFIs* Checking of calculations and drawings* Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety requirements and CDM Regulations and incorporate design for safety* Ensure compliance with Atkins Quality Management Procedures* Deliver projects on time and to quality and budget* Mentoring of Graduate/Assistant Engineers## About You*Qualifications & Skills** Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).* More than total 5 (x) years of professional experience with minimum 2 year of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.* Experience of working in the water Industry - Structural design of service reservoirs, various Water and Wastewater treatment units, pumping stations, Reservoirs, Retaining walls, Thrust blocks, Outfalls, Headworks, Manholes, Concrete design mix, Pipe bedding etc. International Experience is preferred, mainly UK, Europe.* Familiarity with Euro Codes of Practices.* Experience of Detailed design drawings, Calculations and Bar Bending Schedules.* Design reports and Concrete specifications.* Experience of various stages of project delivery - Schematic to Detailed design and Site / Construction Support* Understanding of Interfaces with other disciplines.* Understanding of 3D environment, Revit, Civil 3D, Naviswork, Clash detection, Inter Department Coordinations etc.* Microsoft Office Proficient, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Report Writing etc.*Desirable Criteria** Software – Autodesk Robot.* International experience* Experience of training and mentoring* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
