Job summary

FIS India Bangalore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and REST APIs. You will take end-to-end ownership of key initiatives and drive reliability, security, and performance in large-scale systems.

You will lead complex technical work, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product and operations teams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts to improve deployment efficiency and incident

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and services using modern software engineering practices.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while driving root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering productivity tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure coding practices and address application security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to application reliability, performance tuning, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
