Job summary

Anblicks is seeking a skilled Data Engineer in Hyderabad, India. The role involves working with modern data stack tools such as DBT, Snowflake, Airbyte, and Dagster to build scalable data pipelines. You will be responsible for designing ELT/ETL pipelines, developing DBT models, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating across teams to ensure data quality and performance. Excellent hands-on experience in SQL and familiarity with CI/CD practices are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT (models, macros, tests, exposures).
• Proficiency in Snowflake — warehouses, roles, Snowpipe, performance tuning.
• Experience using Airbyte for data ingestion and connector configuration.
• Experience with Dagster for pipeline orchestration and scheduling.
• Excellent SQL skills for complex transformations and optimization.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Airbyte (ingestion) and Dagster (orchestration).
• Develop and manage DBT models, including staging, transformation, testing, and documentation.
• Work extensively with Snowflake to build warehouses, optimize queries, manage schemas, and ensure data performance.
• Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and pipeline observability.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver clean and reliable data assets.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and cost efficiency.
• Automate pipeline deployments and follow best practices for version control and CI/CD.
