About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Data Engineer with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in either Snowflake or Databricks. You will work closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to support the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake or Databricks
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Optimize data workflows and ensure data quality, performance, and security
• Write efficient SQL queries and perform data transformation and cleansing
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues in pipelines and storage systems
• Document solutions, data models, and processes for future reference

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Hands‑on experience with either Snowflake (data warehousing, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, etc.) or Databricks (PySpark/Scala/SQL notebooks, Delta Lake, MLflow, etc.)
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling techniques
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning

Good to Have

• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in data environments
• Basic understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security principles
