Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and preparation of HP & Std. Couplings using 2D & 3D CAD techniques.
- Perform the 2nd level checking activities for HPC/Std. coupling GA & DDs.
- Record inspection results and maintain detailed logs of findings in DOSE.
- Mentor and provide technical direction and oversight for High Performance and Standard Coupling design and engineering activities.
- Strictly adhere to established quality standards and engineering guidelines for self‑created & checked drawings.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance outcomes in training initiatives, knowledge‑sharing activities, quality improvement effort, etc.
- Coach and motivate team members on performance and continuous improvements.
- Meet the Engineering KPI’s and focus on OTD and quality metrics.
- Work directly with all internal stakeholders and align with them on Engineering Service Level to meet their expectations.
Key Individual Accountabilities:
- Drive and track self‑performance of deliverables.
- Proactive in team support activities.
Key Targets:
- Meet agreed team deliverable average lead time; delivery to promise.
- Provide quality and first‑time right solutions.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvements in day‑to‑day work.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ Years experience and strong knowledge in High Performance and standard Couplings.
- Should have gained 2nd level checking authority.
- Strong skill set for 3D, 2D, automation tool and other engineering tools.
- Sound engineering knowledge in areas including design, engineering calculations, materials, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis utilizing standard problem‑solving tools and methodologies.
- Good knowledge in iProject/DOSE and other reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a deadline‑driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.
- Self‑starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in MS Office.
