Job summary

CERATIZIT India, part of the Plansee Group, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to join our production and sales locations. You will create, manage, and maintain engineering drawings and 3D models using Creo and Windchill, read blueprints, and participate in the full product life cycle from RFQ to realization and subsequent modifications.

We value project management skills, execution of design changes, adherence to safety rules, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Hold a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Possess project management skills.
• Be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire product life cycle, from RFQ to realization and subsequent modifications.
• Create, manage, and maintain engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Manage intermediate materials according to departmental requirements.
• Execute design modification requests.
• Write, maintain, and keep divisional procedures and work instructions up to date. Communicate process deviations and project status updates to the Team Leader.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects within the division to achieve the objectives set by the Team Leader.
• Participate in and/or lead various projects requiring the division's technical expertise.
• Take over and support an employee's tasks when required.
• Apply and enforce all applicable safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, and the environment (HSE).
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the area under his/her responsibility.
• Carry out any tasks or assignments not strictly related to the function described herein, as required by the company.

Profile / Requirements

• Hold a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess solid experience in industrial drafting using PTC Creo and Windchill.
• Demonstrate strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Possess project management skills.
• Be fluent in English.
