Job summary

CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop quotation and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and NX. You will document work in PLM and SAP and ensure drawings comply with DAP/DMR standards while coordinating with sales, projects and production teams.

The role requires 2–3 years of CAD/CAM design experience, a BE in Mechanical Engineering, and strong communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BE-Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 2/3 years of CAD/CAM design experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotation drawings in AutoCAD within lead time.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings using NX within lead time.
• Document drawings in PLM, SAP and within department.
• Control of DAP and production drawings.
• Update drawings as per DMR and document changes.
• Coordinate with sales, projects and production.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Preparation of quotation drawings in Auto CAD within lead time.
• Preparation of manufacturing drawing using NX within lead time.
• Documentation of drawings in PLM, SAP and within department.
• Controlling of DAP and production drawings.
• Update the drawing as per DMR and documents the same.
• Coordination with sales, projects and production.

Profile & Requirements

• Design knowledge - UG, Drafting in Auto CAD.
• Proficient documentation skill.
• Excellent communication skill.
• Candidate should have 2/3 years’ experience in design - CAD/CAM.
