Job summary

Eaton in India is seeking a Controls Engineer focused on production level controls for Electrification products in the power electronics and power distribution portfolio. The role covers product life-cycle activities from specification and requirements engineering to design, development and validation.

Candidate should have experience with HV/LV power converters, digital controls, and simulation tools; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential for delivering robust

Qualifications

• Master in Power Electronics/Control System or Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics.
• Experience with design, development and testing of power management and automation products.
• Exposure to MILS and HILS validation methods and vehicle testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define Requirements, design, development and testing of power management, industrial automation, protection, and energy monitoring products.
• Perform software validation in MILS, HILS environment including test plan preparation.
• Work closely with global and internal team members for Production Software development and integration on Electronics products.
• Provide guidance and help controls engineers from the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technology and trends in motor control and digital controls technologies.

What You’ll Do

\"The Controls Engineer’s primary responsibility will be Production Level Controls development for EATON’s Electrification products on Power electronics and Power distribution portfolio. The position will be involved in many different aspects of the product life-cycle, ranging from product specification, requirements engineering, Design & Development, and validation. Successful candidates will possess the determination required to track down and solve hard to find product level controls issues.\"
