Job summary

Arabelle Solutions in India is seeking an arrangement and piping design engineer to develop equipment layouts, route pipes in 3D models, and prepare GA drawings and MTOs for piping and supports on nuclear power projects.

You will work with PDMS/E3D, ensure clash checks, and comply with EHS and quality rules. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years' experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Fresh from college or max 1–2 years exp.
• Willingness to work on nuclear/fossil power projects.

Responsibilities

• Equipment modelling in E3D, general arrangement drawings.
• Pipe routing in E3D and isometrics preparation.
• Must be conversant with PDMS / E3D and related design/draft modules.
• Adhere to company rules, work instructions and EHS requirements.

Job Description:

Arrangement & Piping design engineer is responsible for equipment layout, pipe routing and supports design in 3D Model, and issue the General Arrangement drawings, isometrics, support drawings, piping layout GA drawings and MTOs for piping & supports as per projects requirements for nuclear power plants. All activities have to comply with the Quality and EHS rules of the Company within their area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Equipment modelling in E3D, maintenance / access review, clash check, preparation of General Arrangement drawings.
• Pipe routing in E3D, clash check, support design with LICAD, isometrics preparation, hangers/supports drawings preparation.
• Must be fully conversant with PDMS / E3D and have good working knowledge in all the various design and draft modules.
• Must ensure the activities are carried out respecting the company rules, Work instructions, EHS requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical engineering
• Fresh from college or max 1 to 2 years exp

Desired Characteristics

• 1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in the design of large Nuclear / fossil power projects
• Good knowledge of PDMS / E3D
• Strong oral communication
• English language skills
