Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort India Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to execute RAC/CAC product validation in collaboration with the cross-functional team. The role involves creating test standards, planning, and executing tests to ensure compliance with HVAC industry norms.

You will work on lab operations, validation schedules, and coordinating with product engineering, project managers, and QA to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery across projects within India and abroad.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork with testing methodologies.
• Experience in requirement analysis, test design, planning, strategy, and case execution.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing standards (IS 1391, IS 8148, ISO 5151, ISO 13253, AHRI 210/240).
• Deep understanding of RAC/CAC air conditioner product working and components.
• Able to support product certification and regulatory approvals (AHRI, ISO, EN).
• Experience with lab operations and test plan creation/execution.

What you will do:

Responsbile for Executing RAC/CAC product Validation by cross collabration with CFT team , Execute test standards creation , Project execution and track RAC/CAC Product validation by solving technical isssue in product and lab.

Ability to effectively communicate issues technically/functionally across a wide variety of audiences.Strong Experience in Requirement Analysis, Test Design, Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Case/scenario preparation, Test data Preparation, Test Case Execution, Defect Reporting & Documentation

How you will do it:

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills and understanding of testing methodologies
• Apply knowledge of HVAC testing standards like IS 1391 Part 1 & 2, IS 8148, ISO 5151, ISO 13253, AHRI 210/240 etc.

• Deep understanding of RAC/CAC air conditioner product working & its critical component functionality
• Support product certification, compliance, and regulatory approvals (e.g., AHRI, ISO, EN standards)
• Maintain & execute operations of test lab & its facilities.
• Ablility to create RAC/CAC/Component validation test plan by understanding deign change point and execute the same in various labs with lab technicians .
• Ability to prepare project validation schedule and monitor schedule throughout the project.
• Preparation of product testting & execution as per test plan.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for product & test lab failures
• Prepare test plans & reports for performance, cycle reliability & structure validation testing
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product engineering , Development, project managers, product owners and quality assurance to report and mitigate project risks and ensure timely delivery.
• Knowledge about NABL and its process for the labs.
• Wellversed with 5S & Kaizen

What we look for:

Required

BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical or related engineering field

3 to 7 years of experience in new product development and validation of RAC/PAC/Component/ Compressor/Motors.

Candidate must have good understanding of DFMEA/Test standards / Compliance requirments

Willing and able to travel within and outside India for project needs

Preferred

Experience with HVAC/ Motors/Heat Exchangers, its components Design Quality , Product development and prouduct testing management , able to drive the testing and project.

Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Experience in Lab Operation managing and Testing Lab building , New labs project installations .
