Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Testing Engineer (Contract) to support performance and reliability testing of HVAC products including RAC, PAC, VRF, and related systems. The role requires understanding psychrometric parameters and hands-on experience with lab testing equipment and data acquisition.

Must hold Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering and possess ISO 17025:2017 certification with measurement uncertainty credentials.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of testing experience.
• ISO 17025:2017 certified

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC

Responsibilities

• Capable to test RAC, PAC, VRF and all types of HVAC units as per relevant standards.
• Capable to understand psychrometric parameters during testing.
• Capable to operate and handle HVAC lab equipment and test setups.
• Capable to use data loggers, power analyzers, sensors, and measurement instruments.
• Capable to maintain and perform basic maintenance of testing equipments.
• Capable to record test data accurately and maintain daytoday lab documents.
• Capable to prepare test reports and share technical findings.
• Capable to follow test procedures, SOPs, and lab safety guidelines.
• Capable to conduct tests independently under different environmental conditions.
• Capable to assist in troubleshooting during testing and support rootcause analysis.
• Capable to coordinate with design, PVV team for testing activities.
• Capable to handle lab housekeeping, equipment calibration tracking, and record keeping.
