Job summary

Tata Electronics is seeking engineers ranging from Engineer to Senior Engineer to support Capex, automation, and material control across multiple sites in India. The role includes troubleshooting automation machines, vision systems, and PLCs, plus planning preventive maintenance and ensuring safety standards.

Experience in electronics manufacturing and RCCA/PM activities is preferred. Walk-in interviews will be conducted in Chennai with detailed discussions on Capex, procurement, and asset

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of RCCA and PFMEA processes.
• Familiarity with batch production and maintenance planning.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Automation Machines, Vision systems, Dispensers, Laser machines/IPC based machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, circuits, and control systems.
• Work with industrial sensors (proximity, pressure, flow, load cell).
• Execute RCCA for failures and implement preventive measures.
• Plan and perform preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Ensure machine safety compliance as per standards.
• Perform CPK and GRR for AE, RF, and AP processes.
• Handle RF/AP instruments and fixtures.
• Basic PLC programming (Beckhoff/Delta preferred) and conveyor system knowledge.
• Knowledge about Underfill dispensing machines
• Test Tool Validation/Test station Retest Improve.

Capex / Indirect Procurement / Direct Procurement / Material Control

OSS Automation

• Troubleshooting Automation Machines, Vision systems, Dispensers, Laser machines/IPC based machines
• Troubleshoot electrical components, circuits, and control systems.
• Work with industrial sensors (proximity, pressure, flow, load cell).
• Execute RCCA for failures and implement preventive measures.
• Plan and perform preventive & predictive maintenance.

ME-Fixture Maintenance

• Process flow control & Perform product PFMEA
• Well Known Fixtures & Jigs qualification and installing
• Knowledge in analyzing Failure and provide reports on time
• Preparing FA Reports effective action to improve line yield.

Material Control & Indirect Procurement

• Vendor negotiation, and PO placement
• Execute CTB activities for project-critical and long-lead items
• Perform demand planning based on project schedules, consumption trends, and site requirements
• Ensure timely procurement and tracking of materials to meet project timelines
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain optimum stock, and avoid shortages/excess
• Coordinate with sites, stores, logistics, and vendors for material planning and delivery
• Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) including vendor returns, replacements, and claim follow-ups
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, inventory, and material movements
• Conduct stock audits and reconciliation of inventory variances
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiency

Capex / Asset Management

• Co-work with vendor and customs broker to finish customs classification before shipping.
• Apply for import/export license and make import/export declaration files according to local customs requirements.
• Track shipment status and submit declaration files to customs broker in time for customs declaration to avoid delay declaration.
• Timely keep equipment import/export information in record after receiving for future reference.
• collect all function equipment requirement and release PR and tracking equipment shipping status.
