ThoughtFocus is seeking a highly skilled Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer with aerospace domain experience and a solid understanding of the DO-178B/C software lifecycle. You will validate embedded software used in safety-critical avionics systems, including aircraft smoke detection and avionics communication interfaces.

Responsibilities include planning and executing DO-178 activities, performing static/dynamic verification, debugging issues, and ensuring traceability from requirements

Qualifications

Experience with DO-178B/C software lifecycle in aerospace environments.
Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
Experience in verification and validation of embedded avionics software.

Responsibilities

Validate embedded software for safety-critical avionics systems using DO-178 processes.
