Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics.**Job Responsibilities:**• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong foundation in: o Digital Signal Processing (DSP) o Radar fundamentals (FMCW, chirp design, Doppler processing) • Proficiency in MATLAB is mandatory, with extensive experience in: o Algorithm development and prototyping o Signal processing toolbox usage o Data visualization and analysis • Experience with: o FFT, filtering, spectrograms, time-frequency analysis o Detection algorithms (CFAR, thresholding) o Statistical signal processing • Good understanding of linear algebra, probability, and signal modeling • Knowledge of: o Micro-Doppler analysis for human activity recognition o MIMO radar o Angle-of-Arrival estimation techniques such as MUSIC, ESPRIT, CAPON, etc. • Experience with Deep Learning / ML models for radar data (CNNs, RNNs) is preferred • Familiarity with: o Automotive safety regulations (Euro NCAP Occupant Monitoring) o Functional safety standards (ISO 26262) • Experience in sensor fusion (radar + camera for driver monitoring) • Experience translating research algorithms into production code • Strong debugging and performance optimization capabilities • Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams## **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:**At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
