Job summary

Green Aero Propulsion is a deep-tech startup focused on aero engines and turbines for defence and energy. We seek a structural analyst to perform linear and nonlinear static and transient analyses and to drive rapid design iterations within a fast-paced team.

You will study load interactions in engines and rigs, leveraging fatigue and creep design knowledge. A Bachelor's in aerospace or mechanical engineering is required, with 2–3 years of experience, and proficiency in ANSYS/Abaqus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (Master's preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Proficiency in first principles based analytical calculations and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform linear and nonlinear, static and transient structural and thermo-structural analysis of metallic structures and rapid design iterations as part of a fast-paced dynamic team.
• Study static and dynamic load interactions in engines, rigs and other components.
• Extensive knowledge of fatigue and creep design of metallic structures.
• Collaborate with other team members and account for interdependencies on other components.
• Design of experiments for estimation of static and dynamic properties of components for verification and validation of analyses.
