Job summary

A NABH-standard hospital in Adoni, Kurnool is seeking an experienced Emergency Physician to provide timely and comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions. The role involves emergency assessment, stabilization, treatment, and coordination with specialist teams.

Salary is negotiable; food and accommodation can be arranged. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine are required.

Qualifications

• MBBS with a relevant postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid State Medical Council registration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in emergency and acute care settings is preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions.
• Perform timely triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and treatment.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical patient situations.
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of clinical expertise.
• Coordinate with consultants and specialist teams for appropriate patient management.
• Monitor patients' clinical condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, emergency documentation, and treatment notes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure appropriate patient transfer or admission when required.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and NABH-related quality requirements.
