Responsibilities

• Assessing patients entering the emergency room and overseeing ED workups.
• Conducting follow-up visits to monitor patient progress.

• Developing effective patient care plans and coordinating with teams.
• Refer to appropriate specialists and arrange transfers when needed.
• Ensure patient stability before transfer to departments for further evaluation.
• Provide discharge instructions and complete required documentation.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with ER departments to deliver timely treatments.
• Admit patients needing special care and arrange investigations and treatments.
• Examine patients, diagnose conditions, and perform procedures as required.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors and medical students.

• Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patients condition.
• Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.
• Developing effective patient care plans.
• Referring patients to appropriate specialists.
• Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
• Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
• Maintaining patients' medical records.
• Coordinating with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.
• Admitting patients requiring special care, followed by investigations and treatment.
• Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
• Carrying out specific procedures, e.g. Performing operations and specialist investigations.
• Teaching and supervising junior doctors and medical students.
