Job summary

I Travel is seeking a qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide pre-hospital emergency care, patient assessment, stabilization, and safe transportation of patients in Singapore. The role requires diploma/certification in EMS or related field and current CPR/BLS certification, with responsibilities spanning incident response, patient monitoring, airway management, and team communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or recognized qualification in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, Pre-Hospital Care, or a related healthcare discipline.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional emergency-care certifications are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of emergency assessment, patient stabilization, and basic life-support procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency and medical incidents.
• Assess patients and identify immediate medical needs.
• Provide first aid, emergency care, and patient stabilization within scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during transportation.
• Assist with airway management, CPR, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, and other emergency interventions as authorized.
• Safely transfer patients between scenes, ambulances, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
• Maintain accurate patient-care and incident documentation.
• Check, maintain, and restock emergency medical equipment and supplies.
• Follow infection-control, occupational-safety, ambulance, and emergency-response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with paramedics, doctors, nurses, dispatch personnel, patients, and relatives.
• Participate in continuing training, drills, and competency assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate first aid, emergency care, and patient stabilization within the scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during transportation.
• Assist with airway management, CPR, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, and other emergency interventions as authorized.
• Safely transfer patients between emergency scenes, ambulances, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or recognized qualification in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, Pre-Hospital Care, or a related healthcare discipline.
• Relevant professional EMT/paramedic experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional emergency-care certifications are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of emergency assessment, patient stabilization, and basic life-support procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, where required.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an emergency medical team.
• Candidates must satisfy the applicable Singapore regulatory and work-pass requirements.
