A technology company in Mysuru is seeking a Lead System Test Engineer with over 7 years of experience, preferably in the Medical domain. The role involves hands-on testing of embedded systems, understanding product development lifecycle, and ensuring design compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and experience with tools like JAMA and JIRA. This is a full-time position focusing on Information Technology and Software Development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• Experience in the Medical domain is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on requirements.
• Participate in system design and requirement reviews.
• Monitor system performance against KPI and customer expectations.
• Support verification and validation efforts.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands‑on experience in Medical / Embedded systems testing
• Design test cases to include test methodology, test setups, materials, equipment, procedure, and acceptance criteria by analyzing requirements.
• Understanding of System Architecture, design, software & hardware.
• Understand and participate in System Design and requirement reviews, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Good knowledge on Medical device standards like ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA, CE and other IEC standards.

• Understanding of System Architecture, design, software & hardware.
• Hands‑on experience in Embedded systems testing (Medical domain is preferable).
• Understanding of Product development lifecycle and validating the performance, reliability, and functionality of entire systems.
• Understands system integration activities and compatibility across subsystems.
• Understands system level risk assessments and support design.
• Support system verification and Validation efforts including Test plan creation, execution and traceability.
• Understand and participate in System Design and requirement reviews, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Monitor and manage system performance against KPI and customer expectations.
• Ensure Design compliance with relevant Regulatory, Safety and Industry standards.
• Design test cases to include test methodology, test setups, materials, equipment, procedure, and acceptance criteria by analysing requirements.
• Good knowledge on Medical device standards like ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA, CE and other IEC standards.
• Working experience on tools like JAMA, JIRA, ALM, Polarion or similar tools.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
• Experience in design transfer and sustenance engineering change review.
