Job summary

Quectel is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and debug core components for diverse peripherals and network stacks. You will contribute to LCD, SPI, I2C drivers, and integrate features such as Audio, GNSS, OTA and File System, while creating prototypes to showcase capabilities.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software (C/C++), with a strong foundation in LTE modem protocols and related network stacks. Hybrid Pune, Maharashtra location.

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded software development with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience in developing and debugging peripheral drivers (LCD, PHY, SLIC, I2C, SPI).
• Experience in network protocols including LTE modem protocols, TCP/UDP/TLS/HTTP/MQTT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug various peripheral drivers and software features.
• Develop and debug Audio, GNSS, OTA, File System features.
• Create prototypes to demonstrate capabilities (WiFi, Audio, GNSS, BT/BLE).
• Write and maintain technical documentation and respond to customer queries.

Job description

• Participate in developing and debugging various peripheral drivers(LCD, PHY, SLIC, I2C, SPI, etc) according to the project and customer requirements.
• Participate in developing and debugging various features(Audio, GNSS, OTA, File System, etc.) according to the project and customer requirements.
• Develop, maintain, customise and improve the modular and scalability of embedded system components.
• Participate in developing and debugging various network protocols including LTE modem protocols, TCP, UDP, TLS, HTTP, MQTT, etc.
• Create prototypes to demonstrate technology capabilities such as Wifi, Audio, GNSS, BT/BLE, etc.
• Respond to technical queries and requirements of company's customers
• Write and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.

Experience

3 to 5 years of hands-on working experience in embedded software development (C/C++).

Location & Work Type

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pune, Maharashtra (Hybrid mode).
