Job summary

Punch Powertrain NV in India (Maharashtra) seeks a senior AUTOSAR software engineer to lead integration and configuration of AUTOSAR BSW and RTE for ECUs. You will work with MCAL configuration across multiple MCUs and ensure AUTOSAR compliance, debugging, and validation across the software stack.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in embedded automotive software, strong C/C++, and hands‑on experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator and Elektrobit Tresos.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software engineering experience in automotiveRTOS/testing.
• Strong AUTOSAR knowledge (Classic and/or Adaptive).
• Proficient in C, C++, Embedded C programming.
• Hands-on with AUTOSAR toolchains: Vector DaVinci, Elektrobit Tresos.
• Familiarity with MCAL configuration and various MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW modules (COM, DCM, OS, EcuM, NvM) using industry tools.
• Work with MCAL configuration for Infineon, NXP, Renesas MCUs.
• Configure and generate RTE for application software integration.
• Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards (Classic/Adaptive).
• Software deployment, debugging, and testing on target ECUs.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and test teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and tests.

• Configure and generate RTE (Runtime Environment) for application software integration.
• Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards (Classic or Adaptive Platform).

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, Systems.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in embedded software engineering, rapid controller prototyping, and real-time systems testing is desired.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and methodology (Classic and/or Adaptive).
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Embedded C programming.
• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR toolchains (Vector DaVinci, Elektrobit Tresos).
• Familiarity with microcontrollers (Infineon, NXP, Renesas) and MCAL configuration.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and requirement management tools (DOORS, Polarion).
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Experience with coding standards (MISRA C), software implementation standards, and/or certification processes and requirements is a strong plus.
