Job summary

Chheda Electricals And Electronics in Pune's EV R&D division is seeking a hardware design engineer to design, simulate, build and test electronics for automotive products. You will work with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration and reliable hardware performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with circuit design, testing under environmental conditions, and documentation like DFMEA and PPAP, plus familiarity with EMI/ EMC issues and automotive standards.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and validate hardware for automotive products.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, PPAP and automotive standards.
• Experience with EMI/EMC issues and testing methods.
• Strong understanding of circuit analysis and hardware testing techniques.
• Experience with OrCAD and PADS for schematic capture and layout.
• Familiarity with documentation and quality processes (DFMEA, 8D, PPAP).
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for smooth integration of products
• Test & debug the hardware for reliable design
• Test circuits under simulated environmental conditions.
• Perform circuit analysis, DFMEA etc
• Coordinate with production, quality & other departments for mass production
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
• Coordinate with customers for smooth integration of our products

Candidate will be working at the EV R&D division located near Swargate Pune.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

• Strong knowledge of electronic components
• Strong knowledge of hardware testing methods used in industry
• Experience in performing hardware calculations
• Experience in documentation like DFMEA, circuit analysis, 8D report, PPAP etc.
• Good knowledge of automotive industry standards
• Experience in handling EMI / EMC related issues
• Experience in handling tools like ORCAD, PADS etc
• Good problem solving ability
• Knowledge of communication protocols
