Job summary

WOW Softech in Pune is seeking hands-on Embedded Hardware Design Engineers with strong power electronics to design hardware for EV chargers, UPS, battery chargers, inverters, and industrial power products. The role covers power-stage design, MOSFET/IGBT selection, sensing, and CAN/SPI interfaces.

Responsibilities include schematic/PCB design, prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging, with emphasis on EMI/EMC and thermal management. Experience with TI C2000 or STM32G/H is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded hardware design with power electronics exposure.
• Experience with EV chargers, UPS, inverters, or battery chargers.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout, bring-up and testing.
• Proficiency with CAN/CAN-FD, RS485, SPI, I2C and UART interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Power-stage and embedded hardware design for converters, chargers, and inverters.
• MOSFET/IGBT selection, driver circuits, protection, and thermal design.
• Voltage/current sensing, ADC, PWM, and signal conditioning.
• Schematic design, PCB layout, prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Hardware development using TI C2000 or STM32G/H platforms.
• Work with CAN/CAN-FD, RS485, SPI, I2C, and UART protocols.
• Debug EMI/EMC, switching noise, gate-driver ringing, and thermal issues.
• Hardware validation using scope, logic analyzer, electronic load, LTspice/PSIM/MATLAB.

We are looking for hands-on Embedded Hardware Design Engineers with strong Power Electronics experience to design and validate hardware for EV Chargers, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers/Testers, Inverters, and Industrial Power-Conversion Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Power-stage and embedded hardware design for AC-DC, DC-DC, Bidirectional DC-DC converters, inverters, and chargers
• MOSFET/IGBT selection, gate-driver circuits, protection circuits, and thermal design
• Voltage/current sensing, analog feedback, ADC, PWM, and signal conditioning
• Schematic design, PCB layout/review, prototype bring-up, testing, and hardware debugging
• Hardware development using TI TMS320F28/C2000 and/or STM32G/H
• Working with CAN/CAN-FD, RS485, SPI, I2C, and UART
• Debugging EMI/EMC, switching noise, gate-driver ringing, thermal, and board-level issues
• Hardware validation using Oscilloscope/DSO, Logic Analyzer, Electronic Load, LTspice, PSIM, or MATLAB
