Job summary

Hire22.ai in Hyderabad is seeking Embedded Firmware Engineers to design, implement, and test firmware for IoT devices. You will work on microcontrollers such as STM32/ESP32, with RTOS support and firmware flashing. Strong debugging and validation skills are essential.

The role requires hands-on experience with UART/CAN/Modbus/SPI/I2C, knowledge of diagnostic tools, and familiarity with testing automation. Prior exposure to smart metering or industrial electronics is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in ECE/EEE or related field.
• Hands-on Embedded C, microcontrollers and RTOS experience.
• Firmware testing, debugging, validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of UART, CAN, Modbus, SPI, I2C or RS485.
• Experience with STM32/ESP32/ARM Cortex or other MCUs.
• Familiarity with Python scripting, test automation and firmware flashing.
• Experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Preferred: Smart Metering, IoT devices or Industrial electronics.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C, Microcontrollers, and RTOS
• Experience in firmware testing, debugging, validation, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, CAN, Modbus, SPI, I²C, or RS485
• Experience with STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex, or other 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers
• Familiarity with Python scripting, test automation, and firmware flashing
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools
• Experience in Smart Metering, IoT Devices, or Utility/Industrial Electronics is highly preferred
