Infosys Limited is seeking an Embedded Engineer for Simulation Development in Pune. The role focuses on embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers, RTOS, and Linux-based firmware integration with hardware systems.

You will work on device communication, PID control, and fault diagnostics, while aligning with medical device standards and integration of.NET applications with firmware. Pune-based, with flexible location options for project needs.

Formación

• Strong embedded C/C++ development for microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS).
• Experience with embedded Linux (Yocto) and system integration.
• Familiarity with hardware interfacing and communication protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded software for sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM.
• Work with Linux-based firmware and application components; debugging complex systems.
• Collaborate on firmware-hardware integration for medical devices.
• Understand IEC 62304 and contribute to secure firmware practices.
• Support integration of main application (.NET) with Firmware and Hardware.
• Assist in boot flows, firmware upgrades, and fault diagnostics.
• Explore containerization and system-level integration opportunities.
• Participate in design reviews and compliance documentation.
• Location: Chandigarh or Pune as preferred by project needs.

Responsibilities

• 1. Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control (sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM).
• 2. Hands-on with embedded Linux (Yocto) including system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
• 3. Experience in hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
• 4. Knowledge of control systems (PID/feedback loops) and real-time embedded design.
• 5. Familiarity with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
• 6. Experience in debugging complex systems involving MCU firmware + Linux applications, including fault handling and diagnostics.
• 7. Understanding of embedded Linux security, containerization (Docker), and system-level integration is a plus.
• 8. Exposure to medical standards (e.g., IEC 62304) preferred.
• 9. Experience in Medical device development.Should be able to help in integration of Main application(.NET) with Firmware and Hardware.
