Job summary

Mployee.me seeks an embedded systems engineer to develop firmware for microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) and integrate with Linux-based systems using Yocto. You will work on sensor and actuator hardware, implement communication protocols, and contribute to medical device projects with a focus on reliability and safety.

Candidates should have strong C/C++ skills, Python for simulators, and hands-on experience with embedded Linux, Docker, and device integration.

Qualifications

• Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS).
• Experience with embedded Linux (Yocto) and system integration.
• Hardware interfacing using UART/I2C/SPI/RS-485/SMBus.
• Knowledge of PID control and real-time embedded design.
• Familiar with firmware arch, bootloaders and upgrades.
• Debug MCU firmware + Linux apps; fault handling & diagnostics.
• Embedded Linux security and containerization; IEC 62304 exposure.
• Medical device development experience; .NET integration with firmware.

Requirements

• Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control, embedded Linux (Yocto)
• Python development experience for simulator development
• Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control (sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM). 2. Hands-on with embedded Linux (Yocto) including system integration, boot flow, and device communication. 3. Experience in hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus). 4. Knowledge of control systems (PID/feedback loops) and real-time embedded design. 5. Familiarity with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms. 6. Experience in debugging complex systems involving MCU firmware + Linux applications, including fault handling and diagnostics. 7. Understanding of embedded Linux security, containerization (Docker), and system-level integration is a plus. 8. Exposure to medical standards (e.g., IEC 62304) preferred. 9. Experience in Medical device development. Should be able to help in integration of Main application(.NET) with Firmware and Hardware.
