Job summary

Jrrsafelogic is seeking an Embedded C/C++ Developer for its product development team in the railway domain. You will lead design, development, testing and maintenance of safety-critical railway software in compliance with EN standards.

The role covers requirements, design, implementation, verification and release, ensuring conformity with railway safety regulations and using MISRA guidelines. Collaboration with system, hardware, safety, and V&V teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / related engineering field.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ and MISRA guidelines for safety-critical systems.
• Experience with embedded development tools, compilers and IDEs.
• Familiarity with EN 50128 and SDLC in product environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for railway products.
• Participate in full product lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release.
• Ensure software compliance with railway safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Apply EN 50126 and EN 50129 standards where applicable.
• Implement robust, reliable, and maintainable code for safety-critical systems.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in embedded environments.
• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions for product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system, hardware, safety, and V&V.
• Support product validation, integration, and deployment activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation aligned with quality and compliance requirements.
