Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking an experienced Embedded Developer to join our Ahmedabad team. The role involves leading multiple embedded projects and delivering high-quality software for Cortex-A and ARM based devices, with emphasis on C programming, Linux kernel and RTOS work.

You will interact with US/Europe customers, mentor junior engineers, and help define project plans, estimates, and onsite engagements when required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Experience with customer interaction (US/Europe) is a must.
• Hands-on with C, Linux kernel, RTOS, and device drivers.
• Experience with on-site engagements and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and estimate effort.
• Plan work and ensure on-time delivery.
• Deliver quality, track daily tasks and project plan.
• Communicate effectively with customers via email/phone.
• Interview and evaluate new candidates.
• Mentor team members and define growth plans.
• Support pre-sales/proposal activities.
• Coordinate onsite engagements when required.

Designation : Embedded Developer

Experience Required : 6-8 Years of Experience

Job Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Shift Timings : 10 AM to 7 PM (Mon-Fri)

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

Area of Expertise:

• Experienced with leading multiple projects simultaneously
• Experienced with customer interaction (US and Europe preferred) is a must
• Excellent Programming Skills in C
• Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architecture like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors etc. and other general-purpose microcontrollers
• Working experience of on bare metal, RTOS, device driver development
• Experienced with Linux Kernel and Linux application space programming skills, device driver embedded systems
• Working experience of architecting embedded systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Debugging skills and hands-on with coding and tool usage
• Experienced with project planning, tracking daily tasks, and customer deliverables will be an added advantage
