embIND Embitel Technologies (India) Private Limited is seeking an experienced Embedded Control Algorithms Engineer to join its CIMI embedded engineering team in Bengaluru, India. You will collaborate closely with teams in Seattle and Germany, focusing on application software development for advanced vehicle control functions.
The role demands expertise in embedded software, automotive communication, and control systems. Responsibilities include designing algorithms for vehicle leveling and implementing embedded state machines. Ideal candidates should have strong experience with C/C++, control theory, and automotive diagnostics.
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Control Algorithms Engineer to join the CIMI embedded engineering team. The role involves close collaboration with the Seattle-based engineering team and the Oviduo team in Germany. The engineer will focus on Application Software (ASW) development for advanced vehicle control functions, working on real systems with tight integration between software, hardware, and physical vehicle behavior.
Design and implement embedded application software for vehicle control systems, focusing on control theory, vehicle dynamics, and physics-based modeling. Develop, test, and validate control algorithms on real hardware using onsite test benches.
Develop algorithms to automatically level a parked RV chassis using onboard accelerometer data. Design and implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) filters such as low-pass filters and Kalman filters to remove engine and compressor vibration noise from the raw gravity vector.
Design a high-accuracy software model to estimate physical load on each vehicle axle using pneumatic pressure transducer data. Develop compensation lookup tables (LUTs) to account for airbag rubber hysteresis, suspension mechanical friction, temperature-dependent effects, and other dynamic factors.
Implement embedded state-machine logic to dynamically inflate and deflate the rear tag axle, lock and unlock the tag axle steering mechanism, and integrate vehicle speed limits received via CAN to ensure safe and compliant operation.
Work with Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) and support porting and integration of legacy embedded codebases. Support debugging, testing, and validation using automotive diagnostics and CAN tooling.
