Job summary

Tessolve is seeking a Senior/Lead Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to drive end-to-end ECU software development for MCU/SoC-based platforms. You will lead architecture, bring-up, debugging and validation with cross-functional teams across geographies.

The role requires 10–18 years of hands-on automotive embedded software experience, strong RTOS and MCU peripherals knowledge, and expertise in AUTOSAR, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, MISRA-C/C++.

Qualifications

What – Role Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Automotive Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead with 10–18 years of hands‑on experience in embedded automotive software development.

The role involves end-to-end ownership of MCU/MPU/SoC-based ECU software, including architecture, development, platform bring-up, hardware-software integration, debugging, validation, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RTOS, MCU peripherals, automotive communication, debugging tools, functional safety, and automotive cybersecurity.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams to translate complex requirements into robust software architectures and production-ready implementations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–18 years of relevant hands‑on experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Strong experience with MCU/MPU/SoC-based automotive applications.
• Proven experience in ECU software development, platform bring-up, integration, debugging, and validation.
• Strong understanding of automotive software development lifecycle, design reviews, code quality, requirements traceability, and validation processes.
• Strong Embedded C/C++ and RTOS knowledge.
• Experience working in OEM, Tier-1, semiconductor, or embedded platform environments.
• Strong technical leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive experience.
• Automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN, and SOME/IP.
• Experience with MCAL, BSP, bootloader, drivers, and low‑level firmware.
• Experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA-C/C++.
• Automotive cybersecurity and HSM/HSE experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, static analysis, unit testing, and automated validation.
