Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Elevator/Lift Technician role based in the Mohali district. The technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair elevators and lifts according to manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, replacing faulty components, and ensuring smooth and safe operation of all elevator systems. The role involves documenting work performed, updating service records, coordinating with supervisors and clients, and following all workplace safety procedures. The technician may also support emergency breakdown calls and participate in periodic system upgrades and testing.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for lift systems and related equipment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting elevators, including diagnosing mechanical and control system issues.
• Solid understanding of Electricity and electrical safety as applied to elevator components and wiring.
• Knowledge of Elevators, lift technologies, and relevant safety codes and standards.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality, with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Previous experience in elevator or lift installation, servicing, or industrial maintenance is an advantage.
