This role requires the candidate to manage the full lifecycle—from schematic capture and board bring-up to embedded firmware execution and Linux administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in consumer hardware design and embedded systems development.

Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Layout: end-to-end schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout using major EDA tools, ensuring EMC/EMI and DFM compliance.
• Firmware & Embedded Systems Development: write and debug low-level firmware in C/C++ for STM32/Atmel MCUs across bare-metal and RTOS.
• Power Electronics Design: design DC-DC converters, SMPS, PMICs, and battery-charging systems for consumer hardware.
• Linux Systems Administration: configure and manage embedded Linux, basic admin, shell scripts, driver setup, HAL.
• Hardware Bring-Up & Validation: hands-on bring-up, oscilloscope/logic analyzer debugging, SI checks, HW-SW integration validation.
• Autonomous Execution: identify risks, optimize power/performance, drive deliverables from concept to production.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end electrical design for consumer hardware products, spanning high-density PCB layout, power electronics design, embedded firmware development, and system-level hardware integration.

This role requires a candidate capable of working independently to manage the entire electronics product lifecycle—from schematic capture and board bring-up to embedded firmware execution and low-level Linux administration.

Key Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Layout: Execute end-to-end schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout using major EDA software platforms, including Altium, KiCad, and Eagle, ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards.
• Firmware & Embedded Systems Development: Write, debug, and maintain reliable low-level firmware in C and C++ for microcontrollers (specifically STM32 and Atmel architectures) across bare-metal environments and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Power Electronics Design: Design, calculate, and implement efficient power electronics architectures, including DC-DC converters, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power management ICs (PMICs), and battery-charging systems for consumer hardware.
• Linux Systems Administration: Configure, customize, and manage embedded Linux operating systems, including basic Linux system administration, shell scripting, driver configuration, and hardware abstraction layer (HAL) setup.
• Hardware Bring-Up & Validation: Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, signal integrity checks, and validation of hardware-software integration within consumer hardware form factors.
• Autonomous Execution: Proactively identify technical risks, optimize power and performance trade-offs, and drive engineering deliverables independently from concept to production readiness.

Requirements and QualificationsEducation & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in consumer hardware design and embedded systems development.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
