Job summary

Sonodyne Technologies in Mumbai is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support PCB module outsourcing, vendor coordination, electrical validation, and quality control. The role requires strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, PCB assemblies, and testing.

You will engage with EMS vendors for outsourcing, prepare technical documentation, and monitor QA and timely delivery. Regular collaboration with Design, Purchase, and Quality teams is essential to ensure compliant PCB modules.

Qualifications

• 34 years of experience in PCB assembly, testing, or electronics manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and electrical testing.
• Experience working with EMS/PCB assembly vendors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand electronic circuits, schematics, components, and datasheets.
• Develop and coordinate with EMS vendors for outsourcing of PCB modules.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, drawings, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate with EMS suppliers for technical requirements, production, testing, and delivery of PCB modules.
• Work with Purchase Department for ordering and follow-up through receipt at the factory.
• Monitor electrical validation and quality inspection of PCB modules at EMS suppliers.
• Identify and resolve technical and quality issues with suppliers and coordinate corrective actions.
• Regularly visit EMS suppliers to monitor production, delivery, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand electronic circuits,schematics, components, and datasheets.
• Develop and coordinate with EMS vendors for outsourcing of existing PCB modules.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, specifications, drawings, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate with EMS suppliers for technical requirements, production, testing, and delivery of PCB modules.
• Work closely with the Purchase Department for ordering and follow-up of PCB modules through to receipt at the factory.
• Monitor and govern electrical validation and quality inspection of PCB modules at EMS suppliers.
• Identify and resolve technical and quality issues with suppliers and coordinate corrective actions.
• Regularly visit EMS suppliers to monitor production and ensure timely delivery and required quality standards.

A hands-on Electronics Engineer with experience in PCB manufacturing/testing and the ability to independently coordinate outsourced PCB module development and production.
