Job summary

Vesslar Technologies Llp is seeking an embedded hardware engineer to design circuits and PCBs for industrial and marine products, and to develop firmware for microcontrollers. You will prototype, test, and document results, and support field trials and installations, while sourcing components and maintaining BOMs.

The role requires hands-on experience with STM32/ESP32/AVR, embedded C/C++, and proficiency with PCB layout tools, soldering, and test equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have: strong understanding of microcontrollers (STM32/ESP32/AVR), architecture, peripherals, interrupts and timers, with hands-on programming experience.
• Embedded C/C++ programming and debugging.
• Circuit design and PCB layout with KiCad, Altium or Eagle.
• Soldering for SMD and use of multimeter, oscilloscope and logic analyser.
• Good English proficiency for documentation and vendor communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs (schematics, layout, component selection) for industrial and marine products.


• Write, test and debug embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers and interface sensors and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485/Modbus).


• Build, solder and test prototypes using lab equipment, and document test results for each revision.


• Support field trials and installations, and troubleshoot and repair faulty devices.


• Source components and PCB fabrication, and maintain design files, BOMs and manuals.

Required Skills
