Job summary

RGBSI in Mumbai, India, seeks an electronics engineer to design analog and mixed-signal circuits, interface sensors, and develop PCB layouts using Altium. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and bring boards from conception to testing, ensuring documentation is up to date.

You will perform board bring-up, debugging with test equipment and contribute to EMI/EMC readiness, while learning new technologies as projects evolve. The role is on-site in Mumbai with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Altium for schematics and PCB layouts (6-layer boards).
• Ability to simulate schematics using LTspice or TINA TI.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to learn new technologies as per project needs.
• Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in using lab equipment for testing and debugging.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design analog/mixed-signal circuits and sensor interfaces.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts (6-layer) using Altium.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
• Attend EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing if any.
• Document design and testing clearly.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Electronics Design:

• Analog Circuits using MOSFET, transistors, OPAMP, ADC, Signal conditioning and integration of sensors.
• Use of RS232, UART, USB, CAN, I2C, SPI protocols for communication in design and layout.
• Analog and mixed signal design.
• Interfacing sensors and circuits with microcontroller.
• Components Selection based on the technical requirements.
• Schematics design in tool along with PCB layout.
• Review the designs along with the update of standard documents.

Testing:

• Board Bring up, functional testing and debugging of boards using oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer etc.,
• Documentation of design and testing.
• Integrated product testing or bench testing if simulator is available.
• To attend EMI/EMC Pre-compliance testing if any.

Skills Required:

• Well versed with Altium tool for schematics design and PCB Layout (6 layer boards) .
• Able to simulate the schematics in Altium/LTspice/TINA TI.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Adaptable to learn new technologies based on the project requirement.
• Able to collaborate and work with cross functional teams.
• Ablity to use lab equipment for testing and debugging.
• Ability to handle the project alone with minimal supervision.
