Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Identify electrical faults using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Install and maintain electrical panels, switches, sockets, lighting systems, motors, and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and materials used.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other technical teams when required.
- Follow proper lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
- Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Report unsafe conditions, potential hazards, and major electrical issues to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or a related technical qualification.
- Valid electrician certification/license, where applicable.
- 25 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, panels, and control equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and clamp meters.
- Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
