Job summary

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited in Bengaluru is hiring an Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical wiring, DBs, panels, switches, lighting and power distribution across our diagnostic facilities.

You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, monitor UPS, batteries, generators and ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical equipment, while coordinating with biomedical/maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems required.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical wiring, DBs, panels, switches, sockets, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical diagnostic equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and maintain UPS, batteries, generators, stabilizers, and related electrical systems.
• Attend electrical complaints and breakdowns promptly.
• Perform electrical inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with biomedical/maintenance teams when electrical issues affect diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, hospital/diagnostic-center protocols, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in electrical rooms and work areas.
