Job summary

Leadec in India is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across utility and industrial setups. You will read drawings, perform testing, and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components including motors, transformers, switchgear, panel boards, and control circuits in utility and industrial setups.
• Must have experience of DG / UPS / Battery / Lighting O&M
• Must have experienced of power change over & synchronization panel operation
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical installations to ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimal equipment performance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals to execute installation and maintenance tasks accurately.
• Perform electrical testing using multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown repairs, emergency response, and execution of planned shutdown activities.
• Maintain inventory of electrical spare parts, tools, and consumables required for routine and emergency maintenance operations.
• Strictly adhere to plant safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a safe working environment at all times
