This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad includes reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and configuring devices, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of lighting, power, control, and audio-visual systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Electrical Maintenance on residential systems, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventive servicing.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Electricity and basic electrical principles relevant to home automation and home theatre installations.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues in wiring, circuits, and devices, and implementing effective solutions.
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts as applied to low-voltage and control systems used in smart homes.
• Hands-on experience working with Electrical Equipment such as panels, breakers, wiring, conduits, switches, relays, and control modules.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with residential wiring standards, safety regulations, and use of electrical testing tools (multimeter, continuity tester, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and installation manuals.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Capacity to work on-site in client homes, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

Role Description

The Electrical Technician will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment used in home automation and home theatre projects. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad includes reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and configuring devices, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of lighting, power, control, and audio-visual systems. The technician will perform regular inspections, diagnose faults, and carry out troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on electrical components and panels. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with project engineers and installers, coordinating with other trades on-site, and adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines. The role may involve client-site visits, documentation of work performed, and assisting in system testing, commissioning, and post-installation support.
