Job summary

Clean Energy Associates is seeking a seasoned engineer to fulfill administrative duties and lead electrical product project execution in PV/storage setups. You will coordinate with account managers, perform QA, audits, and field inspections while applying knowledge of power electronics standards.

The role requires 5+ years in PV/storage production and testing, with hands-on inverter/transformer experience, and willingness to travel for field assignments. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, electrical automation, power electronics, etc.
• At least 5 years working experience in PV/storage production and testing.
• Experience in inverter/transformer factory is a must.
• Proficient in testing and inspection of electrical products like inverter, transformer, skid.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage electrical product projects (inverter, converter, PCS/SKID, transformer) per company/client requirements.
• Communicate with account managers, answer technical questions, update project status, and report progress.
• Self-study and share new standards and knowledge with colleagues.
• Support PV module, racking, storage QA projects and field engineering services.
• Complete other tasks assigned by department leader.

Job Description:

Fulfill the administrative work of our company and daily missions within the department.

1. Responsible for inverter, converter, PCS/SKID, transformer, etc. electrical products project executing and management according to the internal and external requirements of the company and client, completing the Quality assurance, factory audit/review or some field inspection of power electronics components as request within the specified time.
2. Communicate with account manager in a timely and effective manner, including but not limited to answering technical questions, providing professional advice, update project status and report making etc.
3. Self-study for new standards and knowledge, and share experience, standards and technical information with colleagues.
4. Support PV Module, racking, storage Quality assurance project execution and some field engineering service project.
5. Complete other tasks assigned by department leader.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Recognize CEA company culture and core values.
2. Bachelor degree or above, major in electronics, electrical automation, power electronics, etc.
   At least 5 years working experience in PV&Stroage production and testing. Working experience in inverter/transformer factory is a must.
3. Proficient in inverter, transformer, skid, etc. electrical products testing and inspection.
4. Proficient in inverter, transformer, skid, etc. electrical product manufacture process, testing process, test method and relevant test standards and specifications, like IEC, UL, IEEE.
5. Able to understand SOW and complete tasks, independently working and project execution with pressure.
6. Familiar with PV&storage system design, new energy generation acceptance testing standards, can independently complete the inverter field test is a plus.
7. Familiar with DC/DC, DC/AC power conversion basic principle, topology structure; Analog circuit fundamentals, digital circuit fundamentals.
8. Knowledge of PV modules, trackers, transformers, switchgear and storage is a Plus.
9. Good at English reading, writing, listening and speaking, Good communication and interpersonal skills.
   
10. Familiar with ISO, 6S and 8D, etc.
11. Good computer skills, can write report independently
12. In good health, able to travel frequently.
