Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform comprehensive electrical system studies for LV, MV and HV networks and to develop robust models using industry-standard tools. Qualifications

• BTech or BE in Electrical Engineering or global equivalent in engineering field of study and fifteen (15) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
• Perform electrical system studies for LV, MV and HV electrical networks.
• Develop and maintain electrical network models using industry-standard power system analysis software.
• Carry out load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, harmonic, power factor, reactive power, arc flash and protection coordination studies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze study results and identify constraints, overloads, voltage issues, fault levels and equipment limitations.
• Prepare study reports, calculation notes, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Ensure studies comply with ANSI, IEC, IEEE, IS, utility requirements and project specs.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, vendors and project teams.
