Segula Technologies in Chennai is seeking a CAD/PLM specialist with experience in automotive product development. The role focuses on understanding features, options, variant management, and vehicle architecture to inform CAD design and product structure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large assembly management, performance optimization in CAD, and the ability to design attachment schemes for electrical modules. Familiarity with PLM systems is essential.

Formación

• Experience in the automotive industry or product development environment.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Understanding of features, options, and variant management principles.
• Experience with large assembly management and performance optimization in CAD.
• Prior experience performing benchmarking and packaging studies on electrical modules/systems; should be able to independently design attachment schemes or bracket designs for electrical modules/systems.
• Good knowledge of vehicle architecture, vehicle coordinate systems (VCS, VSS, etc.), Vehicle Aggregate Groups, Sub-Groups, Systems and Sub-Systems, and their implications for CAD design and product structure.
