Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks an Electrical & Electronics engineer with 8-10 years of Detailed Engineering experience. You will lead panel design projects and develop documents like power schematics, GA drawings, BOMs, and loop diagrams, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and E-PLAN is desirable, with SAP material management knowledge a plus. You will independently lead projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive designs from

Responsibilities

• Perform design and develop documents like Power Schematics, Control Schematics, Industrial control/powerPanel Design, GA drawing, Panel Layout, BOM and LoopDiagrams
• Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards,electrical codes
• Execute mid to large panel design projects for water treatment applications (MBR, UF, RO, etc.) with minimal supervision from concept to completion
• Hands‑on exposure to Allen‑Bradley systems (experience with Schneider and Siemens platforms is an added advantage)
• Developing Bill of Material and manage procurement process through SAP is an advantage

Work Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (E-PLANexperience is an added advantage)
• Expertise in specifying and applying electrical andcontrols equipment in water treatment process plant
• Proficiency in North American Low Voltage standards(UL508A, CSA 22.2, NFPA 70) and IEC 61439 ispreferred.Familiar with UL698A, UL913, CSA 22.2, NFPA 497, NFPA820 and ANSI schematics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make good business decisions, to speakeffectively before groups, including customers andothers as well as the ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, orscheduled form.
• Self‑motivated, ability to drive projects to completionwith minimal oversight, demonstrating significantproblem‑solving ability with an unfailing dedication todeadlines and commitments
• Computer proficiency with business tools (doc, sheets,slides etc.) and SAP is preferred.
