Job summary

Hindustan Zinc invites seasoned Electrical Engineers to join our mining and processing operations. You will lead electrical safety, ensure zero incidents in underground and related surface installations, and ensure compliance with CEA, HZL safety standards, and DGMS guidelines.

Responsibilities include spares management, energy-saving initiatives, and SAP-based maintenance through PM/CBM, RCM, FMEA, and related modules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Mines/Plant/Smelters.
• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with CEA regulations, HZL safety standards, and DGMS guidelines.
• Manage spares and inventory (SMI/NMI) and stock cables for development and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Electrical safety and ensure zero incidents in UG and UG related installation at surface.
• Compliance to Statutory CEA regulations, HZL Safety Standards, and DGMS guidelines for electrical safety in UG mines.
• Spares and Inventory management and controlling of SMI and NMI spares generations. Ensuring proper spares, stocking of cables to meet mine development and production.
• Periodic monitoring of specific power consumption of UG and implementation of energy saving initiatives.
• Ensuring 100% Compliance of AO Module like PM/CBM ,Focus Improvement Project, Kaizen, RCM, SAP Notification, Root Cause Analysis, BOM, Equipment List in SAP, Shutdown activity and creation of Master Order in SAP for annual shutdown, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), Condition Appraisal (CA) etc.
• Timely completion of CAPEX Project & Benchmarking the performance and identifying the area of improvements within department.
